Meka Tome

Photographer

I am a photographer who explores the human form.

I value emotions, introspection, and understanding, which inspire most of what I create.

I often find myself studying my own feelings in the form of photographs. Gently placing, or occasionally throwing, my soul onto paper is a way for me to understand myself and the world around me. For me, there is nothing like chasing down an emotion and trying to bring tangibility to it. I share my work in hopes that someone may see a part of them in it as well.

If my work is not directly inspired by emotions, introspection, and/or understanding, it is an exploration of the human form. I am fascinated by the bodies we inhabit and am constantly looking for ways to dissect and abstractly depict our physical selves.
